Mehndi invitations

Mehndi card, sent as one WhatsApp link

Your mehndi invitation card opens as a small website: the date, the lawn or marquee on a map, the colours to wear, and a reply button. Send it in the family group and see who is coming, with numbers for every function.

Free to make and preview. Pay once when you share it.

Why a digital mehndi card works better

A printed mehndi card goes to one house. Then come the calls: which lawn, what time, is it ladies only, can the children come? A digital mehndi invitation card answers all of that on one page, and it reaches the khala in Dubai the same minute it reaches the neighbours.

It also does something a picture card on WhatsApp cannot. Guests reply. You stop guessing how many plates to order for the mehndi night.

What goes on your mehndi invitation

Everything a guest asks before the night, on one screen they can scroll:

  • The date and time, with a live countdown
  • The venue with a button that opens Google Maps
  • Dress colours, shown as swatches (yellow, green and orange, or your own)
  • A note such as "Ladies only" or "Separate seating for ladies and gents"
  • Your dholki, baraat and walima on the same page, if you like
  • An RSVP for each function, with the number of people coming

One link for mehndi, baraat and walima

Most shaadis are three or four evenings. Instead of a separate mehndi card, barat card and walima card, put every function on one invitation. Each family replies once for the functions they are invited to, and you get a headcount per event.

Not everyone is invited to everything. Make a personal link for a family or a group and it shows only the functions they are invited to. The mehndi crowd and the walima list can be different, and nobody sees a function they weren't asked to.

Mehndi card wording in English and Urdu

The Eastern template shows your invitation in English, Urdu or Hindi, and guests switch language with one tap. Your Urdu wording is written in proper Nastaliq, not a picture of text. If you need wording ideas, our WhatsApp invitation messages guide has mehndi lines ready to copy.

How to make your mehndi invitation card

Choose the Eastern template (or any other), add the names, the mehndi date and venue, and pick your photos from your phone or our library of marigolds, diyas and stages. Preview it for free for as long as you like. When it is ready, pay once (Rs 3,500 for Standard, which includes Eastern, or Rs 5,500 for Premium) and share the link.
