Walima invitations
The walima is usually the biggest guest list of the shaadi, and the hardest to count. Send your walima invitation card as one WhatsApp link, and every family replies with how many are coming, so the caterer gets a real number.

Ask anyone who has planned a walima: the hardest part is the number. Printed cards come back with no replies. A WhatsApp image gets a thumbs up from half the group and silence from the rest. Then the caterer wants a count for 400 or 600 by Thursday.
With an online walima card, each guest taps "Will you join us?" and adds how many people are coming. Every reply lands in one list, with the family's name and the number coming.
The walima card comes from the groom's family. It needs the invitation, the day, the time and the place, and little else. Give a time close to when dinner is actually served, so guests aren't waiting two hours for the food.

The walima is hosted by the groom's family, but both sides invite guests. Make separate personal links for each side's families and download one combined guest list at the end, or keep them apart. The reply list shows which link each answer came from.
