Aqiqah card matter in English and Urdu

An aqiqah card opens with Bismillah, names the parents (or grandparents) who are inviting, invites guests to the aqiqah of their son or daughter, gives the baby's name, then the day, date, time and place, and often says whether lunch or dinner is served. The aqiqah is the Muslim celebration of a new baby, usually on the seventh day after the birth: an animal is sacrificed and its meat shared with family, friends and people in need, and many families shave the baby's head and give its weight in silver to charity. The card itself is short, because guests mostly need the time and the place.

"Noor-e-nazar" (light of our eyes) is the usual Urdu phrase for the baby: "hamare noor-e-nazar" for a son, "hamari noor-e-nazar" for a daughter.
